About Mathas

I tried D&D a few times growing up, mostly in my mid-teens. It was fun, but it never really stuck for me. I've always thought the game was a bit goofy and uncontrolled. When I was about 17 years old, I got around to playing in one of Scott's games for the first time. It was then I realized how much fun the game really could be. What I enjoy best in a story is to see it develop in a 'real world'. I love making characters with basic backstories, and watching them evolve over time.

I've been wanting to start a ttRPG show for some time. Now that it's here I'm just excited to see what happens.

About Daelric

Raised by a family of nerds, I first rolled dice when I was very young (8ish?). By my teen years, ttRPGs became my #1 passion. I used to skip lunch all throughout highschool just to memorize the 3.0 rules!! Though I've spent more than 75% of my time playing D&D, I've played so many more systems. Through all that, G.U.R.P.S. has always been my true love. Not only was it the first game I've ever played, it's the best I've ever encountered. It’s the grit. Gritty games are by far the ones that have the most impact on both the PCs and the DM.

Lost Initiative is another chapter is that story. Already I've taken on new PCs, forcing me to evolve my DM style, AND learned a new system. As time goes, I have the every intention to also PC in a few games. If you are the designated DM, than you know the pain all to well; 'always the bride, never the bridesmaid...' or however that goes.
